The aim of our program is to present children with challenging experiences in a beautiful environment. We respect the rights of children to be able to learn in a warm and supported environment. We challenge children intellectually, socially and physically through engaging with children on their level and at their pace. We encourage them to want to learn and help them find solutions when things go wrong. Learning through play develops all aspects of the brain and we endeavour to present opportunities for children where they can be learned though socialising with others. We observe children daily, document their learning and share our findings with families. We use this documentation to inform our program along with parent feedback and comments on their child’s current interests. Our program also includes a great music program. Our staff plays the piano, guitar and ukulele, and this forms part of our daily routine.
Cultural diversity is embedded in our program on a daily basis through discussions and celebrations and our centre accommodates all cultural and social values.
